TANSI

The host Nations welcome families, Elders, youth, visitors, vendors, singers, dancers, volunteers, and guests to the Nêhiyawak Summer Gathering 2026. This gathering is a place to visit, learn, eat together, hear nēhiyawēwin, and carry teachings forward. Come with respect. Listen with care. These will be good times as we continue moving forward as Nations.

This gathering is a place to visit, learn, eat together, hear nēhiyawēwin, and carry teachings forward. Come with respect. Listen with care. These will be good times as we continue moving forward as Nations. Over the coming days, families will renew friendships, create new memories, and hear teachings from Elders that have guided our people for generations.

More than an event

The Nêhiyawak Summer Gathering is more than an event. It is a return to language, culture, teachings, and relationships. It is an opportunity for children to learn who they are, for youth to ask questions, for adults to reconnect, and for Elders to share knowledge carried over generations.

The three host Nations welcome everyone to join in a week of culture, community, learning, and connection.

Sponsor Recognition & appreciation

On behalf of the Nêhiyawak Summer Gathering 2026 Organizing Committee, we extend our sincere gratitude to all sponsors, partners, and Nations whose support has helped make this gathering possible. Your commitment strengthens our Nations, supports cultural revitalization, and creates opportunities for families, Elders, youth, and visitors to come together in the spirit of unity, respect, and celebration.
